Q-Tran announces the launch of a new series of Encapsulated Flexible Linear LED Light Sources. All Q-CAP products are fully manufactured in the Q-Tran factory in Milford, Connecticut in their new, state-of-the-art “clean room” facility. Utilizing a technically sophisticated manufacturing process combined with high-quality materials, Q-Tran is able to encapsulate the LED source to produce three truly innovative Made in America LED lighting solutions. Q-Tran is the first American manufacturer to invest the significant resources required to accomplish this in a USA based factory. We at LIGHT are very proud to represent Q-Tran and we look forward to presenting the Q-CAP products to you.
The versatile Q-Cap LED fixtures are encapsulated in a combination of polyurethane and ceramic materials, all of which are durable, protected from solvents and UV rays, impervious to chlorinated and salt water, and provide superior thermal dissipation. All products are IP68 listed, available in both clear and translucent finishes and are suitable for use in extreme indoor or outdoor environments.
The flexible Q-CAP D1 has the ability to bend up or down, with a 6″ bending radius. The flexible white exterior has either clear (>390lm/ft) or translucent (>290lm/ft) Polyurethane (PU). Finished in a diode-free translucent finish creating a completely homogeneous fixture.
The Q-CAP D3 is a multipurpose, flexible LED fixture that is dimmable down to .01%. The patent pending design utilizes an interior parabolic reflector to deliver the highest output to create a diode-free, direct view finish; delivering twice the lumens versus comparable products.
The Q-CAP D5 is the smallest Q-CAP fixture. The extreme flexibility of this low profile fixture provides a more reliable solution. It is capable of being mounted in direct or indirect view.. The flexible white exterior has either clear (>406lm/ft) or translucent (>253lm/ft) Polyurethane.
